Petzl is recalling these harnesses due to a nonconforming batch of FAST LT buckles that could lead to a fatal fall. Only certain SWAN EASYFIT STEEL and STAINLESS harnesses, manufactured in 2022, are affected by this recall.
Spelean has not sold any affected SWAN harnesses in New Zealand therefore we will not be offering a local recall.
Please use the Petzl Recall Notice to determine if your harnesses are in the affected batches. If you have affected harnesses that were purchased outside of New Zealand please lodge your Return Request via petzl.com.
